crime and punishment

We have always had great success with "the chair." It comes after a couple of warnings. It seems to be very affective and allows them a chance to take a breather. She had only been on the chair once today, (for trying to empty out the freezer multiple times) when she decided to be the authoritarian and punish her animal.
And then she took it even further with the third step, the most dreaded step, and step which is brought out by only the worst offenses: a spankin. She couldn't even go through with it and brought the perpetrator to me to carry out the punishment.
