Jaren and I made a penguin Valentine's Day box for East Lake Elementary's mailbox contest. As always, Jaren wanted a penguin. I had all these big ideas and he wanted things his way. He told me he could see how he wanted it to look in his mind. After we were done he said that he couldn't believe how good he was at making it. After all is said and done I am reminded that I need to let him find his way but just be there for support and use the exacto knife...
